PROTOCOL ON CENTRALISATION
[modifier | modifier le wikicode]Section VII (2) (new):
Until the time when the above-mentioned extension of the search documentation of the European Patent Office has been completed and the Office has developed the capacity to carry out such search in an appropriate manner, the Administrative Council may decide, that this extended search be left to central industrial property offices of Contracting States equipped to carry out this task with sufficient competence. The conditions under which this can be done shall be laid down in an agreement between the Administrative Council and the national office in question. Such agreement shall be on the understanding that the European System for the Grant of Patents will not be delayed and that additional costs will not be incurred for the European Patent Organisation.
