[modifier | modifier le wikicode]Auditing of accounts
[modifier | modifier le wikicode]Article 50 lays down that the accounts shall be examined by an Audit Board. The Article does not state whether the auditing is to be done by the Board itself or by independent financial experts. The latter solution would appear the more effective.
In order to make it clear that this procedure is not to be excluded, the Netherlands delegation proposes that the following sentence should be added to the first paragraph of Article 50:

The Audit Board may obtain the assistance of independent financial experts.
